So there are a plethora of topics on here that are practically for the same platform, so I'm making this topic to try to combine everything into one single post, for the sake of not cluttering the forum, as well as being a somewhat convenient way to look for a solution for a problem many people may be facing.

this is what i get when i try to run the windows download
I downloaded the app and all i get is a black screen with a glowing loading sign
finally got it to load and realized that the arcade was "closed" and gem buying/spending is ending... i began playing this game back in 2009 and all i have to say is that it is a shame that this game is turning out this way. Without games/gems/etc. there is literally nothing to do.
Technically, Flash will still work after 2020, however web browsers and websites will stop supporting it. If you have any games downloaded from the web that are written in Flash, then they'll still work, granted you still have Flash installed on your computer.
However I don't think they were able to go this route due to possible compatibility issues (doubtful).
For the spinning circle, have you checked to see if you have all the files needed? From my tests, the "data" folder, or lack thereof, is what causes the endless spinning circle.

I can't even download the client. I have a 2015 Mac and others with the same model have been able to download it just fine. Help!
You're probably getting this error because the ourWorld client isn't signed. Czarcasm has stated on the ourWorldBuzz Forums that they're trying to get it signed and certified so that this stops happening. Windows also does this as well.
Safari could also be blocking it because it doesn't know what it is. Try using another web browser to download the client, such as Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc.
Another thing you could try is adding the application to your virus scanner's exceptions. I have no knowledge of MacOS platforms so I cannot say why this is happening.

Ponoc, if you go into system preferences and then I believe security & privacy, you should be able to manually allow it to download. This same pop-up appeared when I tried to download it as well, but changing the preferences did the trick. Also, if your Mac has a retina display, it might run the app in low resolution. If you're having that issue, I can let you know how it can be fixed :)
in a way I love the new client it lag free ,really smooth,and loads really fast

I don't believe they're looking for any suggestions for the client. They've already stated the client's sole purpose is to act as a platform to host ourWorld, and really not much else.

My game does not leave the loading screen and I have all the right folders. What can it be?
I'm not sure as to what exactly does this, however I think this may help. I haven't had any issues with the client, however I have been messing around with files and have replicated the infinite loading screen.

Again, I don't know if that helps any, however I did notice if certain fields had different information, it would cause the infinite loading. You could also check to see if the client is blocked via your firewall.
In any case, I would suggest to submit a help ticket to see if they know what the cause is and can fix it for those who are having issues.

Windows is not letting me run this - I guess its not registered??
The reason why you're seeing that message is because the ourWorld client is not digitally signed and/or have a digital certification, so Windows doesn't know if it is safe or not. The devs know of this already and are looking into seeing how to get it digitally signed.
If you click on More info, you are able to run the program as normal.

Thanks - I tried that but now Norton does not approve - its probably waiting for that digital cert as well
The ourWorld client is safe from viruses. Looks to be just a false positive.
Not sure why Norton is rearing its ugly head at the client. Just add an exception for it.

Can someone help me I can't use the market to send offers or buy resident or gems I haven't played in a few years? Also where do i download ourworld since it's not going to work on browsers anymore.

Please remove the original screenshot and crop out only the ourWorld client. You've made yourself at risk of doxing by showing your email address.
As far as this error message, I have no problems with the camera, whether it be on the client or the webpage. Try restarting the client and see if the problem persists.

Yeah, you're alright, just didn't want you to dox yourself. A screenshot of the client would be enough.
Just remember that this forum board is for all things ourWorld-related, including any issues, bugs and things with the client. If you do run into any issues with the client, let Support know, because they can't fix something that they don't know of.

it's been a week since I wanted to change my security email, but it never worked. I used my old email at the time and I forgot the password so I wanted to change it to a new one. OurWorld told me to wait 2 days and they will send a message to my new email, but it never came. I don't know what to do.
Check your Spam folder. Sometimes, email providers will mark certain messages as Spam.
If it isn't there, try doing the process again with a different email. If all else fails, get in contact with Support.

Hi, I have download the new app about 10 times already on my laptop and I haven't luck opening and using this app.
also my image is not showing on the old app. I can't do anything , but play games, but I am invisible. What's going on? And another thing that I am worry about is, what is going to happen with all my stuff, I have spend a lot of cash during all these years and to end up empty handed is not fair. Is there going to be a refund? I know I am not the only one who are wondering about your company's actions?
There is no refund. All of your payments that you have made were final.
They have had a lessening playerbase over the years and can no longer support running ourWorld. The reason the client exists is solely to act as a legacy platform for ourWorld with removed features such as the Arcade. They will continue to run ourWorld off the client until they are no longer able to do so. At that point, ourWorld will cease to exist.
As far as the app is concerned, what problems are you having with it?
